Bristol Highlands
Improvement Association
About BHIA
Bristol Highlands is a neighborhood in Bristol, RI. The Bristol Highlands Improvement Association was founded in 1911. According to our by-laws, the purpose of the organization is to "function as a neighborhood association by promoting the general welfare and advancing the interest of, and the improvement of the Bristol Highlands, located in the Town of Bristol, State of Rhode Island, and for social and literary purposes."
The BHIA supports a private beach, tennis/pickleball court, community house, and playground, all available for use to members. In addition, the BHIA runs a variety of social events (such as a lobster boil), lectures, and events for children (e.g. tennis lessons, nature education).
